NOTES: Single Pole Disconnect has two terminals and is recommended for vehicles not using an alternator that needs ability to be shut down in an emergency or when securing a vehicle by shutting off all power to vehicle.

Double Pole Disconnects have four terminals with two separate circuits. Which is recommended for vehicles with an alternator that need to be shut down in the event of an emergency.

When attempting to shut down a vehicle with an alternator using a single pole battery disconnect the alternator may continue supplying power to the vehicle ignition system, allowing the vehicle to continue to run.

Battery disconnect features a removable key allowing vehicle to be shut down in the event of an emergency or to secure vehicle when not in use. Disconnect is rated at 160 amps continuous duty and features two 3/8”-24 terminals for installing battery cables with ring terminals. Ideal for use in street cars as a theft deterrent.
